Support Shiloh

Like so many other private Christian schools and colleges, Shiloh is dependent upon the generosity of its donors. When you support Shiloh, you are contributing to the future of hundreds of students who will go on to lead boldly in the name of Jesus because of the strong Christian education they have received here.

Financial support to Shiloh helps us continue our original mission of providing Academic Excellence on a Christian Foundation. With your generous gifts, and according to the will of God, we hope to expand so we may offer more to our families and reach further into the community.

However you may choose to give, and whatever the amount, we thank you for your generous support, and ask that you also keep Shiloh in your prayers that we may continue the mission we have begun with integrity and wisdom.

Many Ways to Give

Charitable Gift Annuity
Gifts of money, stocks, bonds or other liquid assets. A large part of this income is tax free, and you also receive a charitable deduction for part of the gift.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
Establish a trust that pays you an income stream for life and leaves the balance ramining when you pass away, to Shiloh. You will receive an immediate income tax deduction and can avoid capital gains taxes by donating appreciated assets.

Charitable Lead Trusts
Establish a trust that pays Shiloh an income stream for your life and leaves the balance remaining when you die, to your family. Great for passing assets to your family with reduced estate and gift taxes while benefitting Shiloh at the same time. You will also receive an immedate income tax deduction.

Retained Life Estate
Transfer real estate to Shiloh and retain the rights to live in and/or receive income from the property during your life. Upon death, the property will transfer completely to Shiloh. You will receive an immediate income tax deduction and this can also reduce your estate taxes.

Make a Difference Today

Cash and Gift Pledge
The advantage of this method is that the actual cost of the gift is less than the total dollar amount given to Shiloh. You can deduct up to 50 percent of the gift off your adjusted gross income in the year you make the gift.

Matching Gift
Your employer (or spouse’s employer) may match employee gifts to Shiloh Christian School.

Stocks and Bonds
Use this way to donate highly appreciated stocks to benefit the school and to provide capital gains tax savings.

Real Estate
Giving private, commercial or agricultural property. If your property has decreased in value, you should consider selling it and contributing the proceeds to receive both capital loss and charitable gift deductions. We encourage you to contact us during the early stages of your planning so we can work together to decide the best use of this property.

Make a Difference in the Future

Your Will
Your will can include gifts in the form of stocks, bonds, cash, real estate, personal property or a percentage of your estate. Work with your attorney if you want Shiloh to be the recipient of a future gift.

Life Insurance
You can make a substantial gift with modest premium payments, or use paid up policies that are no longer needed for your family members. You may also contribute other appreciated assets to Shiloh and with the related tax savings purchase a life insurance policy for the benefit of your family.

Retirement Savings
Name Shiloh as a beneficiary of your retirement account. This will allow that protion of your account to pass income tax free to Shiloh.
