Track & Field

Congratulations to the Track Team on their success in the Dickinson Meet - the 4 X 400 and 4 X 200 did awesome!  Blake ran a stellar open 400-just a second off qualifying.  Josh Wood is 1/5 seconds off qualifying in the 300 H.  Donovan was 4 seconds off qualifying in the 800, 2 seconds in the mile, and missed the mile by a whisper too.  Mikayla got 2nd in the mile and 2 mile, Regan improved her time in the 400 and 800 and placed.  The Girls 4 X 800 improved as well and placed 2nd.  Miriah placed in the long jump which was fantastic against the competition.  She also placed in all her running events.  Mikayla took first in the javelin and placed in all her running events as well.

Shiloh School has track and field athletic programming for students in grades 7-12.  Students have the opportunity to participate in meets throughout the surrounding area at the junior high and varsity levels.  From throwing to jumping; sprints to distance runs, Shiloh athletes have the opportunity to put their talents to work for the team.  We are fortunate to have excellent facilities for practice as we are able to practice at the Community Bowl-where the State Track meet is held each year!  The Spring of 2011 was the first year in several years that Shiloh fielded their track team independent from a co-op.  We had a team of 30 athletes, and 5 athletes qualified for state!
