Student Ministries
Ministry Carnival
In October 2010, Shiloh students worked and played with the children at the Standing Rock Reservation. Seven Shiloh students helped to put on a mini carnival in Selfridge and Fort Yates as a positive activity during the Halloween weekend. Children were led up an illuminated path where a sign over the church door reminded all that Jesus is the light of the world. They were then invited to the church basement for gigantic bowling, mini golf, a duck pond and various other games. The children also enjoyed face painting and a photo booth where they could dress up in the "armor of God" and have their picture taken. Snacks were served and the night concluded with a story of a pumpkin who was wonderfully transformed by the master carver; a unique story that presented the gospel message. The Shiloh students that helped with the carnival ministry event also helped with some landscaping around the church, and led worship music during a Sunday morning service. These students were a blessing to the Standing Rock Reservation.
