Cross Country

The cross country season begins in August and ends in October with the state meet.  Kenny Opsal is the coach for Shiloh's growing Cross Country Team.  Coach Opsal looks forward to leading the runners to victory each season. At each meet, all of the runners push themselves to their personal best, so let’s be sure to cheer them on!  

In 2012, Shiloh hosted the first annual Shiloh Invite Cross Country Meet at McDowell Dam, east of Bismarck.  It was a well attended event, and we look forward to continuing this new tradition for years to come.

The Skyhawk Cross Country teams enjoyed great success throughout the year.  The season finished with the State Meet in Dickinson on October 27th.  Despite cold, snowy conditions, the teams and individuals did well.  Donovan Lambrecht was the individual champion in the Boys' division leading the boys' team to a 6th place finish.  Other all-state finishers include Elliott Stone in 6th place and Walter Bearstail in 17th. Donovan Lambrecht was also named Class B Senior Athlete of the Year.  In the Girls' division, the Skyhawks worked together to finish in 3rd place as a team.
